BD Talent are keen to speak to Junior Digital Designers or Digital Design Graduates / soon to be Graduates, ideally with 12 months of experience under their belt – whether from a placement year or a year in industry.

Joining the in-house design team of an ever-growing eCommerce company, you will shadow and learn from your senior teammates and gain experience building digital assets in many forms, working across different brands, products and marketing channels.

Here’s what the role looks like:

• Working with the internal marketing team to create digital assets across web, email, social media and paid media
• Picking up projects via Ayoa/Trello, reviewing the brief and discussing it with the project’s owner to understand the concept and idea
• Producing a mock-up and wireframe in response to the brief
• Building the asset using the Adobe Creative Cloud toolkit
• Taking part in on-the-job training around motion graphics, video, UX/UI etc.
• Participating in regular team meetings and idea building sessions

What experience do you need to have?

• A good grasp of the Adobe CC toolkit, you’ll have been using it for personal and professional projects for a little while now
• A portfolio of work to share, showcasing both your creativity and your design skills
• Wireframing and prototyping knowledge or experience, with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD etc.
• Knowledge of design principles, typography, layout etc.
• Bonus points for any experience or an interest in motion graphics or video as this will be a big part of the role!
