Senior Desktop Support Engineer – Trade Floor

BD Talent are now recruiting for an international broker, based in the city, close to all the good tube stops, Bank, Liverpool Street, St Paul’s, Monument etc – making this an easy commute.

We’re looking for someone with *Trade Floor* experience and someone who is experienced when it comes to providing IT/desktop support in this type of environment. Applicants must have experience supporting trading platforms such as Fidessa or Trading Technologies / TT.

Responsibilities would include the following so a good amount of experience in these areas is needed:

• Desktop, hardware, software and network support for 80+ brokers and users
• Managing software deployment and configuration for third party and in house applications, including market data / trading platforms such as Bloomberg, TT and Fidessa
• Virtual Infrastructure support – ESXi /VMware vSphere / vCentre Server
• Trading Turret / Dealer board support – IPC/Etrali, IP Trade etc.
• Active Directory – user account creation, group policy and computer administration
• Setup of new desktops / desk moves
• Exchange management – setup of new users email accounts, permissions, groups etc
• VPN and remote access administration, configuration and troubleshooting
• Video conferencing and meeting room setups
• Trade support – IT support across trading apps

This will be an office based role, working on a shift rotation, either 6.30am – 2.30pm or 10am to 6pm. You’ll also have the opportunity to travel to other offices including Paris and Madrid!
