SEO Manager

Manchester

Up to £50,000

This has to be one of the best SEO opportunities on the market right now and here’s why:

  • It’s with a multi-brand eCommerce company who are market leaders in their sector
  • The role will see you take full ownership of their SEO channel
  • There will be a 50/50 split between driving the strategic direction and hands-on, technical SEO
  • You’ll be managing a small team within a company with *big* expansion plans
  • You’ll always have access to the best tools, tech and data
  • There’s three frontend Web Developers in this team so changes get actioned quickly

And if that wasn’t enough, the role will also involve:

  • Growing and managing the SEO team, ensuring activity matches the strategy
  • Reviewing, setting and developing the strategy and roadmap for each brand/product
  • Working on new product launches, devising the strategy, on-site store optimization etc.
  • Working closely with other teams including Content, Digital PR and CRO – advising on SEO changes, keywords and ensuring priorities are aligned
  • Being aware of changes and developments within the SEO landscape, attending events, knowledge sharing seminars and undertaking market and competitor research
  • Monitoring performance, reporting, A/B testing, looking at site speed, opportunities for optimization, core web vitals, redirects etc.
  • Tech includes Ahrefs, Semrush, Hotjar, Screaming Frog, GA and Search Console

And here’s more detail on the company and benefits:

  • They operate a hybrid working policy with two set office/team days each week
  • They are south Manchester based and have free parking onsite
  • There’s a yearly bonus on top of the salary and regular performance reviews
  • They offer 25 days annual leave, plus your birthday off, plus the option to buy/sell 5 days
  • Personal development is hugely encouraged and funded

We’re looking for someone who is highly experienced in SEO, someone with a data-led approach who can own this channel and lead the company forward. Strong strategic and technical SEO experience is a must, as is experience leading or managing a team.

All of the above will be your bread and butter and you’ll have a track record of delivering results.

If you’re looking for a senior level SEO role which offers autonomy, progression, variety and personal growth AND you want to join a data and tech focused company with ambitious plans, this is that opportunity.
