Looking to go in-house and really own and nurture all aspects of paid search? Or are you in-house already and looking for a new challenge where you can maximise PPC campaigns AND upskill in Performance Max by following a data driven test and learn approach?

Whichever side you’re from; this is a FANTASTIC opportunity.

It’s a tech driven eCommerce company, in a hugely popular, secure sector. They have multiple products ranges so campaign variety and opportunity is one of the many factors that makes this role so interesting.

The role will have the following areas of focus:

  • Keeping on top of all PPC accounts (10+), optimising campaigns, setting up new campaigns and using data to improve results
  • Owning, setting and delivering PPC strategies
  • Regular reporting, sharing results and looking at a MMM to measure attribution
  • Utilising Performance Max, working closely with the in-house Web Optimisation Lead and following a test and learn approach: landing page split testing, audience testing etc.
  • Full ownership over Google – Search, Demand Generation and Performance Max
  • Harnessing the Google relationship, accessing Beta programmes, product insights etc.

Things to know:

  • It’s a split between B2B (20%) and B2C (80%)
  • It’s a hybrid role with 2 set office/team days each week, South Manchester, free parking
  • There’s a yearly performance based bonus, which increases based on how much you overachieve on agreed targets and KPIs – prior experience working to targets is a must
  • The team is likely to grow in quarter 2 or 3
  • You have the option to write ad copy or utilise the in-house content and creative teams

Projects include:

  • New product launches, of which you’ll own and deliver a new customer acquisition PPC strategy based on value-based bidding
  • Contributing to a measurement piece/linear regression model to look at how spend affects and benefits other marketing channels

We’re looking for someone with as much of the experience above as possible, Performance Max experience is desired however, if you know the theory behind it, it can be picked up on the job. Google and Bing experience is a must and you must be GA4 fluent.
